My clinical research interests include the treatment of patients with heart attacks and blockages in their coronary arteries. More recently, working with the American Heart Association, I have concentrated on cardiovascular risk prevention in areas of smoking prevention and cessation, enhanced physical fitness in schools, and reduction in sugar-sweetened beverage consumption to prevent obesity.
